This page explains what data mamakatiopa.com and Katiopa Studio process, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights. It follows the information the UK GDPR requires us to give you, as set out by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in its "right to be informed" guidance.
The data controller is MAMAKATIOPA LTD (trading as Katiopa Studio), a company registered in England and Wales, number 13332618, registered office 104 Whitmore Road, Birmingham, England, B10 0NP. Contact: info@mamakatiopa.com, WhatsApp +44 7751 198490. Given the size of the business, no data protection officer has been appointed, which is not a legal requirement at this scale; data requests are handled directly at the address above.
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tool. Simply browsing it does not generate any automatic data collection. The only data we receive is what you choose to send us yourself, by WhatsApp or email.
If a measurement tool or advertising pixel is ever added to this site, a consent banner will be put in place before it goes live, and this page will be updated to reflect it, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) on non-essential cookies.
When you write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive whatever you choose to tell us: your name, phone number or email address, and the content of your message (your project, your budget, your timeline). We collect nothing else, and we do not gather anything about you from any third party.

We do not use your data for any other purpose, and we do not send you marketing messages without your explicit consent.
Your data stays within the Katiopa Studio team. It is never sold, rented, or shared with a third party for commercial purposes. Two technical providers do have access to it, purely to run the tools we use to stay in touch with you:
This site is hosted on a server located in Finland, within the European Union: that transfer is covered by the UK's adequacy decision for the European Economic Area, with no extra safeguard needed. WhatsApp (Meta) is a US-based company and may transfer your message data outside the UK and the EU as part of running its own service; we have no control over those transfers and point you to Meta's own privacy policy for the safeguards it applies.
We keep your data for as long as our business relationship lasts, then for six years after it ends, to meet our accounting obligations under UK law. After that, it is deleted.
